2 parts: 1 - If you don't know what it does... don't touch it. It will cost you more in the long-run.
2 - Keep Your RV User Manuals. Do not throw them out. Before you take your new RV home or on the road, put your manuals, documents, appliance user guides all in a safe place. The first time you need to repair or replace anything, this will be the first place you'll need to look. You'll thank yourself later!
Make it Your Own! Do it! If you have fallen in love with an older RV or motor home, but you shudder to think about living in an old motel, take heart (and a paintbrush) to that wall paper. Be sure to get some good primer, paint, tape, plastic to cover the floor, a trim brush, a roller brush, a bucket and some rags.
Family First... Safety First. Don't forget to check your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms each year, changing batteries every 6 months. If your LP detector does not have a test button you can try spraying some hair spray near it.
